Collection: The Stitched Garden BOM 2026 EPP - Emma Jones Vintage Sewing Box
I am delighted to introduce a brand new and beautifully considered block of the month called The Secret Stitched Garden. Inspired by the much loved classic children’s book, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson-Burnett, this thoughtfully designed project invites you to slow down, stitch mindfully and enjoy a creative journey across the year. The block of the month will run in two carefully planned parts.
Part one is from January - June, where we will be creating a charming wildflower garden, embroidered EPP hexagon wallhanging. Rich in detail, gentle in colour.
Part two will be a beautiful appliqué wall hanging and the secret will be revealed later in the year!

The Wildflower Garden EPP wall hanging will feature 19 different, delicately drawn wildflower designs, stitched onto jewel EPP shapes, made over six months. These designs are embroidered in a repeated pattern, creating an eye-catching and unique design. Each jewel flower is surrounded by classic hexagons and gradually joined together to create a striking hexagonal wall hanging measuring approximately 38” x 33”, a piece that is both decorative and deeply satisfying to make.
On the first Monday of each month from January to June, the digital patterns for each flower will be released, four in January and three in each subsequent month. The printable patterns come with clear, detailed video lessons, allowing you to see exactly how to embroider each design calmly and confidently from start to finish.
To take part, you will need to purchase the digital patterns and videos. They can be found here. Alternatively, if you are a member of Patreon, you get access to the digital patterns included in your membership, so you don’t need to purchase the digital patterns.
Option: just specially printed fabric panels and interfacing.
You don’t need either of the optional extras to take part. The designs can be easily traced onto your own fabric and stitched using threads and materials you may already have, making this project wonderfully flexible.
